3 MT Tours has launched the excursions around the George Enescu International Festival, the biggest international festival of classical music in Romania.
During nearly one month, Bucharest shall be the Capital of Classical Music in its area. The festival shall start off on August 30th, 2009, with George Enescu’s Oedipe, a co-production between Opera Nationala Bucuresti (The National Opera in Bucharest) and Theatre du Capitole du Toulouse.
Taking place every two years, the George Enescu International Festival is definitely the biggest festival in its area, with a remarkable international participation - Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France, the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra and the Sankt Petersburg Philarmonic Orchestra are just three examples of the orchestras and chamber orchestras visiting Bucharest during late August and September this year.
3 MT Tours has put together some tours, mainly through Bucharest and its neighbourhood, for those interested in visiting some of today’s cosmopolitan metropolis. Upon demand, connecting tours before/after the festival can be also booked. For bookings before May 30th, a 15% discount shall apply to all tours and excursions.
